In May 2006 Assyrian Aid Society-Australian contributed AU$19,875.00 to AAS-Iraq for Teaching Cost.

The total cost of teaching process for each month is US$35,537 this number include the schools activities supported by AAS and Syriac language committee expenses.

 These costs are in addition to the Ministry of Education obligations to ward these Assyrian schools.

 

The transportation of the high schools in Duhok $(6,000 ) are now covered by Ministry of Education, we bear these costs from the beginning of the teaching season Sep.2005 till the end of 2005.

 

The teaching costs in Kirkuk governorate are covered directly by a special fund from Assyrian National Council in Chicago-Illinois (Mr. Shaiba Mando).

 After subtracting the high schools transportation costs of Duhok high schools & Kirkuk teaching costs from the total cost $(35,537), the final result will be $(26,147).

Already now we as AAS-Iraq are bearing the teaching process cost $(26,147), depending mainly on your monthly support $(15,000).
