On Saturday 31st of October, the Assyrian Aid Society – Australia (AAS-Au) held it 10th Anniversary Celebration.  The event was very successful, where hundreds of supporters and guest enjoyed the presentations, Assyrian music and dancing, until early hours of the morning.

A large number of invited guest attended the celebration, among them were the Honourable Joe Tripodi NSW minister for finance, Mr. Ninos Khoshaba NSW State MP, Iraqi Councilor General in Sydney Mr.Muhsin Younis Abdul-majid Al-Samaree, Fairfield City Councillors Mr. Andy Rohan , Mr. Zaya Toma, and Mr. Samir Yousif, president of the Australian Business Party Mr. Joseph Adam, and representatives of Assyrian organisations in Sydney.

Mr Napoleon Patto, the president of Assyrian Aid Society – Iraq attended as our special guest of honour to mark the occasion, and through his speech he gave a good insight to the role the Assyrian Aid Society plays in providing essential service to our people in Iraq.
